The Turnigy Evolution Radio transmitter from Hobbyking is an inexpensive but feature rich radio that many people are snapping up. The gimbals are small but agile, according to reviews I’ve seen. The radio doesn’t look like a natural for people who pinch the gimbal sticks, but if you use your thumbs, you’re golden. Except for the fact those gimbal sticks have sharp ends.
These Thumb Pads for the Turnigy Evolution radio are just what the FPV Doctor ordered. Slip these over your gimbal sticks, and your thumbs are safe and secure, and you can fly until you drop. Or until your lipos die. Several friends have put one drop of hot glue in the hole of each thumb pad right before they slide them over the sticks. This keeps them in place, but still makes it easy to remove.

I wasn’t sure how thumb stick would feel at first, but being a gamer and used to thumb sticks, I do feel like have a bit more control and precision over standard sticks. Nice design, light weight, good thumb size and grip. Highly recommended!
